The WGH Band Historical Association celebrated its First Anniversary in June 2023 at Trumbull Country Club in Warren.

with these goals:
to find, restore, and preserve all 1960s filmed marching performances and recorded concert music, including video recordings of 1970s-'80s Panther band marching and concert performances.
to gather memorabilia
to enjoy a gala band alumni reunion, and events celebrating the Panther band
to partner with the Trumbull County Historical Society to create a public exhibit on the band's early history during the Fleming Era.
to permanently display our hard-won artistic accomplishments for posterity

MISSION:
To enrich the traditions of American music and inspire future generations through preservation, exhibition, and celebratory events that archive the WGH Marching and Concert Band performances with special focus on the nationally recognized ‘Fleming Era’ 1958 to 1968, under Director Robert E. Fleming, with Assistant Directors Clinton E. Foster and John S. Kobasiar, Jr., and continuing through the 1970s and 1980s Fleming-inspired bands where the tradition successfully continued.
